The Nature Conservancy

The Marine Planning website is designed to help marine and coastal decision-makers to navigate real-world challenges and reach effective solutions. It advances ecosystem-based management and marine spatial planning approaches, providing key concepts, case studies, and decision support for multiple-objective management.

Working with members of The Nature Conservancy’s Global Marine Initiative, Waterview Consulting planned, wrote, and edited content for the website, which was launched in 2010. We conducted background research through literature reviews and expert interviews.

Currently, we are working with The Nature Conservancy to expand the scope of the website with new case studies, policy-focused information, and other material.
