Casco Bay Estuary Partnership (CBEP)
One of 28 National Estuary Programs in the United States, CBEP is a collaborative effort of people and organizations interested in protecting and restoring Casco Bay in southern Maine. Every five years, CBEP produces a comprehensive report on the changing health of the Bay and its watershed.
CBEP partnered with Waterview Consulting to produce the 80-page State of the Bay 2010 report, which addresses land use, stormwater, toxic pollution, habitat degradation, climate change, stewardship, and other issues.
The Waterview Consulting team created illustrations, maps, and graphs, provided photographs, and designed the report to align with CBEP’s visual identity and present the information in an engaging, reader-friendly format. We coordinated printing of the report before the State of the Bay Conference in October 2010.
For the Conference, Waterview Consulting designed a set of ten posters that present key messages from the report. The posters are designed with flexibility in mind, so CBEP can use them over the next several years at meetings, workshops, and symposiums.
